Southwestern Community College's Small Business Center will offer a class, "HR Summit," on Tuesday, October 18 from 8-5 on the Sylva campus.
Human Resources is probably one of the more complicated aspects of running a business, yet it’s incredibly important. The complexities of working with people aren’t managed on a spreadsheet, and often you don’t have the knowledge or tools to handle these situations the best way. Mistakes in HR can be costly, but unfortunately they are common. Your employees are one of your greatest assets. You must protect and manage them as such.
