Concerts on the Creek 2018 - Andalyn

Andalyn returns to Sylva to perform her unique blend of country/rock at Concerts on the Creek on Friday, July 20 from 7-9 p.m.

Andalyn’s live performances include original compositions alongside a variety of covers. She plays both bass and acoustic guitar, either solo or with a supporting band featuring Zach Haney on lead guitar and vocals and Harry Lewis on drums. In addition to paid performances Andalyn frequently plays for charitable benefits and volunteers when possible, which has been an important part of her career.

Andalyn has performed and traveled with Joe Lasher Jr. from 2014 - 2016. Her video for the song "Carolina Summer," won the WNC Video Music Award for 2014 leading up to her debut EP "Perfect Excuses" release in October 2015 via her own label, Jetta Records. "Perfect Excuses" is available through iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, her website and various brick & mortar retailers.

Andalyn has played in over 150 gigs in the southeast, from North Carolina to Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia and South Carolina.

Concerts on the Creek are held every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 7-9 p.m., at the Bridge Park gazebo stage in Sylva. The Town of Sylva, Jackson County Parks and Recreation and Jackson County Chamber of Commerce team up to produce the Concerts on the Creek series.

These events are free and open to the public with donations encouraged. Please bring a chair or blanket. Food trucks will be at most of this year's events.
