Description
The Fourth of July Celebration will feature fireworks, live music and fun in Sylva. Produced by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, this will be the first fireworks show in downtown Sylva in seven years. Darren Nicholson and Friends featuring four-time Grammy award winner David Holt will perform bluegrass music from 4 to 6 p.m. Nicholson is a Jackson County native, an award-winning musician and member of the nationally-known award winning group Balsam Range. They will be joined by friends Jeff Mendenhall on fiddle and Will McIntyre on bass.
