Description
The Jackson County Public Library is starting a new monthly program called Explorer's Club. This program will explore different countries, cultures, and other themes. The first Explorer's Club will be Thursday, September 18th, at 6 PM in the Storytime Room. The topic will be the country of England, with special guest Tracy Fitzmaurice, a native of England and the Head Librarian for Jackson County. Explorer's Club is intended for all ages, with a special emphasis on cultural learning for children. Families are encouraged to come and join in the fun. Each Explorer's Club will feature special guests, snacks, and crafts that all are pertinent to the theme. This program is free of charge and no sign-up is required.
For more information, please call the Jackson County Public Library in Sylva at 586-2016. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library.
