Next week, from May 11-15, the 14th annual Minis on the Dragon event will take place with a home base of Fontana Village (a chamber member) in nearby Fontana Dam, N.C. More than 150 Mini Cooper enthusiasts have a full schedule of rides and events planned, which include visiting the Jackson County Green Energy Park (also a chamber member) in Dillsboro each day of the event.
JCGEP Director Timm Muth said the riders enjoyed coming to Jackson County last year and were provided coupons and gift certificates from local businesses, which they used and appreciated. If any Jackson County business would like to donate a coupon or gift certificate to Muth for the Minis on the Dragon riders visiting JCGEP next week, please contact him via phone at (828) 631-0271 or by e-mail at tmuth@jacksonnc.org.
