Description
Basic Blacksmithing Classes will be offered at the Jackson County Green Energy Park on Saturday, May 16 and Saturday, May 30 from 10 am - 5 pm. Cost is $100, due at registration. This course is designed to introduce students to the art of blacksmith. Fundamental techniques wll be covered: forge safety, basic hammer techniques, general shaping, squaring/drawing out, heating, quenching, scrolling and twisting.
