DESCRIPTION:The 15th annual season of Concerts on the Creek continues on Friday\, June 21 when we welcome The V8's to Bridge Park for a 7-9 p.m. performance.\n\n \n\nWho are The V8's? Just some local dudes...that know how to have a good time! When these guys first got together they agreed that the best part of playing gigs was when the audience would cut loose and dance. So that's what this band is about. Most of the V8s have been playing in various bands (often together) since 1975 (not a typo). So they've had a while to decide on what to play and how to play it. The outcome is one good time party band! Classic\, danceable R&B and R&R tunes delivered from old school musicians with feel.\n\n \n\nOn any given night\, the band will deliver their smokin' hot versions of songs by artists such as Otis Redding\, Wilson Picket\, Sam & Dave\, Johnny Rivers\, Van Morrison and many more.\n\n \n\nConcerts on the Creek are held every Friday night from 7-9 p.m. at the Bridge Park in Sylva\, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.\n\n \n\nEveryone is encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. These events are FREE but donations are encouraged. Dogs must be on a leash. No smoking\, vaping\, coolers or tents are allowed.
