The Small Business Center of Southwestern Community College will offer a free seminar entitled, “Doing
Business with the Government” on Wednesday May 29th
from 10:00am – 12:00pm on the SCC Jackson
Campus in the Burrell Building Room 102C.
Discover how to identify sales opportunities; evaluate federal and state solicitations for jobs; register
a business; find assistance resources; understand the bid process; match a firm with the various SBA
and other federal contracting preference programs to maximize a firm’s marketability; and tap into the
