Your first\n\nyear in business is make-or-break time. It can be a time of excitement\, confusion and turmoil. Starting\n\noff on the right foot can create the foundation for a lasting\, profitable business. This is a "soup-to-nuts"\n\nseminar that covers all the important issues you need to consider when starting your business:\n\n  Identify the personal qualities and skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur\,\n\n  Discuss the different forms of legal structures for business enterprises\,\n\n  Evaluate their ability to be successful entrepreneurs\,\n\n  Understand the types of licensing or permits needed for their business\,\n\n  Discuss topics such as trademarks\, copyrights\, patents\, insurance\, financing\, record keeping and\n\nTaxes that may be needed for their business\,\n\n  Create a list of strengths and weaknesses for your community\, and\n\n  Evaluate the community's opportunities and threats.\n\nThis class is not to be missed by any interested entrepreneurs.
